Integration of a residential swimming pool with the first ITEC international award for the avant-garde design of swimming pools at a national level. The pool was classified as an example of integration with the colors and the Mediterranean essence.

The Saló Piscina Barcelona 2013 residential swimming pool award from ITEC is defined by the steep solar slope, initially an inconvenience of the project, becomes an attractive formal resource.

The image of the marés quarries in front of the sea, typically Menorcan, where the land was sculpted forming slopes in the form of large blocks that were loaded directly onto the boats, is explored.

The unevenness is divided into successive blocks that resolve 29 m2 the program of the recreational spaces attached to a swimming pool.

In the same way that the sandstone quarries die in the sea, the steps of this project accompany the route from the house to the pool and the sea. Recovering the image of the quarries, sandstone cladding is chosen as the only material to cover the set of vertical and horizontal planes that connect the pool house; like a white carpet that folds from the terrace to the sea.
